Lovely Links + Happy Weekend

This time last weekend I was sitting in the emergency room of our local hospital facing an operation to remove a suspected burst appendix. I’d always wondered what that kind of pain would feel like, and after dealing with it for 48 hours before finally going in to get things fixed, I can promise you it isn’t fun!

I’ve had a bit of time for reflection this week and I’m thinking I’m a pretty lucky lady to have such a beautiful life.

I’m starting to feel a lot better now and looking forward to getting back into the important stuff this coming week (like wedding planning and making choc-mint slice).
