Make Believe: Loft Loungeroom

A friend of a friend announced on the weekend she is moving to New York.

Apart from immediately almost dying of jealousy, it got me thinking about that dream many of us have of living in a loft apartment in the world’s most vibrant city. I know this fantasy is mostly the fault of growing up in the SATC era, but it sure would be nice.

So I went shopping for some pieces for my pretend loft apartment.

I have a house full of Danish furniture already, so of course that was my immediate go to style!

My favourite piece above, apart from that amazing coffee table (you thought it was a bowl right? Clever!), is the print by Ansel Adams. Just beautiful!
