The Simple Things: Matching Shoes
We’re celebrating the start of a new column here today at Penelope and Pip called “The Simple Things”. I think as I get older I realise that chasing crazy dreams that require oodles of hard work is one thing, but sitting back and seeing the kismet in life is pretty wonderful too. This little column will be all about finding the simple things that make us happy and sourcing gorgeous products that match that are either thrifty or from designers and crafters that like to keep it simple too. Let’s celebrate all the wonderful artisans that are kind to the earth and all the simple pleasures life brings us every day.
Here we go!
One thing I love about spending time with my nieces is that even though we live on opposite sides of the city and we don’t collaborate on outfits (they are only three and eight after all!), when we meet up to hang out, we always seem to have one item of clothing that matches.
I love this little coincidence that always seems to occur, so when I spotted our matching Mary Jane style footwear on our shopping trip yesterday I smiled and then straight away thought of these matching shoes.
We’d look kinda cute together in these don’t you think?
Shier Shoes in Nambia use sustainable products and local gentlemen to make their beautiful shoes. Sustainable and simple! Hooray!
