The Simple Things: Waves

I lived by the water for eight years before I moved in with my fiance and sometimes when I am looking out over our leafy green park view I wonder if perhaps I should have looked at that water a lot more.

There is something very dreamy about just letting your gaze rest softy on the waves.

And of course, if you grew up in sunny Queensland like me, than one of the most enjoyable simple things to do in your childhood was to visit the beach.

I’d love to be there right now in this beautiful one-piece by fellow Queenslander Indhra and her partner Jeremy from We are Handsome. I get so excited when I find Australian sewn clothes from Australian products and the prints on their collections are breathtaking.

Teamed with an eco-friendly sun hat made from paper straw by the milliners the Goorin Bros. and just maybe it would feel like I’d never left the water after all.
