Freebie: St Patrick’s Day Bag Toppers

I have to admit, I’ve always been pretty fond of St Patrick’s Day is it’s only a couple of days away from my birthday which means it’s a good excuse to start the party early.

The one problem I’ve always had with it though is all that green decorating. Green food, green drinks, having to wear green outfits to work when I worked in an office. It’s not my favourite colour!

So this year, I’ve banned the green and designed some super cute bag toppers you can use to brighten up your St Patrick’s Day parties or surprise your friends with a treat on the day.

Here’s a little tutorial to get you started.

They’re really easy to make (and of course we have a free download for you too!):

MATERIALS //

1. St Patrick’s Day bag topper printable (download here)
2. Scissors
3. Glue
4. Lollies
5. Small plastic bags

STEP 01 // PRINTING & CUTTING

Print out the bag toppers on matter photo paper or cardboard.

Trim around the toppers so they are ready for attaching to your bag.

STEP 02 // MAKE YOUR BAG

Fill your little plastic bags with some goodies (okay, I broke my rule and filled them with green lollies).

Fold your topper over the top and glue to the bag.

We’re going to fill a little dish on the desk in our studio and give them to all my visitors on St Patrick’s Day.
