DIY Projects: Pretty Paper Crane Printable

      Paper Cranes Project

      Cranes

I made this special paper crane origami paper and printable as a tribute to all my lovely American customers and friends. Ten years ago today the world changed for many people, especially our Northern Hemisphere neighbours, many of whom were personally touched by the events of September 11.

I like to think if we all make a handful of cranes from this printable and hang them up today, collectively we can make a wish for a more peaceful world in the future.

The crane pattern on  this paper is hand drawn by me and the printable below has all the instructions you need to fold your paper cranes.

I hope you are able to share some quiet time today in memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, and in the many years of war that have continued since then – perhaps a pretty paper cranes folding session will be a chance to do just that.

DIY Projects: Father’s Day Fun Printable

        FathersDayDIYCompleted

I thought it would be fun to put together a little free download for Father’s Day – an easy project for you and your little (or big) ones that would be a super fun way to wake up dad in the morning.

All you need to complete the project is a printer, some colouring pencils, some sticky tape and five paddle pop sticks (a good excuse to nibble on an icecream too!).

Just cut out the cute space people, colour them in, stick them to the paddle pop sticks, write your message to dad and then go and wake him up! Easy!

        Happy Father’s Day!
